The Problem and risk to society

Teenage Vaping

Vapes were invented to be a safer nicotine delivery device than cigarettes to save lives. Instead it became a 'cool' way to smoke, encouraging more people to join the cult.

Target Audience

Statistics show the number of new smokers on a steady decline for the last 15 years. However, with the introduction of Vapes like jule, we notice a spike in the number of new smokers entering the nicotine market every year. These are the people the campaign targets.

How was it affecting teens?

E-cigarettes contain a lot of nicotine, which is very addictive. Getting addicted to nicotine can make it harder for teenagers to focus and concentrate. E-cigarettes also contain chemicals that could cause cancer, and there are many reports of serious lung problems connected to vaping. Additionally, vaping can make teenagers more likely to start smoking regular cigarettes.

How much of this can the campaign achieve?

Our campaign is not to ban vapes for everyone niether is it one to bring in more regulations in the industry. Government bodies and other NGOs are working on that. Out goal is to target those individuals who are susceptible to start vaping and inform them about the risks.
